Xbox Is Dead, Long Live The Xbox 360?

They're quoting a report from Dubious Quality that's predicting a quick and final end for Microsoft's Xbox by the end of '06. How can this be? It seems like yesterday we were BFF with our Xbox, and now it's apparently going the way of the dinosaur. The heartbreaking quote from the report: 45 Xbox 360 games are scheduled for release before the end of the year, but only 31 Xbox titles. Almost half of that 31 will be shipping by the end of June. After that, the 360 titles are listed in a 2-1 ratio for the end of the year... In other words, in about two months, the transition from Xbox to Xbox 360 is essentially over. And there are no Xbox titles being prepped for a 2007 release. I believe that Dionne Warwick summed up my feelings about the Xbox precisely when she sang the following lyrics:The moment I wake up
