Xbox 360: Table Tennis Reviews Trickle In
By Nathan Bronfman No plans for Gnip Gnop Announced Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis for the Xbox 360 was released yesterday, retailing for $39.99 a pop. When first announced, some gamers thought that ping ping for the 360 must be some kind of joke. We quickly learned it was no joke whatsoever. And now the reviews have come in, and they're pretty positive! The game has a Metacritic score of 81 at this particular moment in time, which isn't half bad for a game that could have easily turned out to be...well...boring. Here's some choice quotes from the reviews: Gamers Radar (80): Executing killer spins, tricky drop shots and monster rallies makes Table Tennis a cult-worthy game that breeds unhealthy competition. TeamXbox (85): Find another game that makes gamers anew to it feel like they’ve been playing it for years, and the masters feel as if they’ve never played before. This is the engine talking to you, thus making Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis a true triumph as an implement for having fun.
