With strong sales, the Xbox 360 has the best launch of all time in Australia With sales of over 30,00 units in its first four days, the Xbox 360 has the best console launch of all time in Australia according to analyst GfK Previously Sony’s PSP held top spot selling over 27,000 units during its debut in September of last year. GfK reported an average of 2.6 game sold with each Xbox 360, with an average of $960 total purchase by Xbox 360 buyers. The GfK figures, which account for approximately 90 per cent of the retail market, measured sales from the Xbox 360's March 23 launch to Sunday March 26. The midnight launch event saw over 10,000 Xbox 360’s sold.
