Review: Burnout Revenge Xbox 360
By Victor Burnout blazes into the next-generation with a terrific arcade-racing experience on the Xbox 360 Burnout on the current-gen consoles established itself quickly as the king of the arcade-racing mountain with its blistering speed, amazing crashes, as well as highly addictive gameplay. When the Xbox 360 released, it was Microsoft who did not acknowledge developer Citerion’s request to make their Burnout games backwards compatible. So instead of not allowing anyone to have Burnout playable on the Xbox 360, the developer decided to go ahead and make an Xbox 360 version of the game, thus we have Burnout Revenge. Graphics Back on the current-gen consoles Criterion pushed this game to the max in terms of using the power of the consoles and pushing them to their limits. So when the developer decided to bring it over to the Xbox 360, they already had great visuals in place. Burnout Revenge is not a huge leap in visuals but it is enough that it can easily go toe to toe with any of the racers on the Xbox 360 right now. Burnout was built for high definition as the cars and environments have all been bumped up into higher resolution and it looks simply fantastic.
