By Donald Kaufman Love tees off playing Links 2004 I've never found love playing on Xbox Live; the last time I thought I found Ms. Right online, it turned out to be an eleven-year old Bangladeshi boy. Imagine my dismay. Claire Wilcox and Shane Nelson, on the other hand, had cupid's arrow traveling through their Xboxes and now are engaged to be married. Here's how they met playing Links 2004, from The Sun:It was an open contest — meaning anyone in the world could join in. Claire said: “Shane asked to play. He was quiet to start with until I remember saying to one of my friends, ‘I just want somebody to romance me’. “Shane cut in with his deep Southern drawl, and he said, ‘Down girl. Where do you live?’” Now they're talking every day, and have even used their headsets to hear each other sleep. It's the kind of thing that's marvelous to the people in love, and a tad nauseating to those single folks out there.

By Mia Blake Bethesda Sofworks prepare for the "Next Generation" and launch new Star Trek Legacy website Bethesda Softworks, the creators of the immensely popular Elder Scrolls franchise, have now launched the official web site for Star Trek Legacy, an action-strategy title for the PC and Xbox 360 due in September. The Star Trek franchise has seen many similar titles from the Starfleet Command, Bridge Commander, and Armada series, but is due for a little change with its Xbox 360 debut. This time around, Mad Doc Software founder Dr. Ian Davis, who will bring his companies AI technology to this latest Star Trek venture. By Mia Blake Rack em up - snooker is heading to the Xbox 360 Earlier today, SEGA Europe announced that they will be releasing World Snooker Championship 2007 on the Xbox 360 sometime this fall. The new snooker game will have 104 of the world’s best snooker players, with ten official tournaments modeled after the 2007 season “Last year’s World Snooker Championship was a massive hit for SEGA,” commented Matt Woodley, Creative Director of SEGA. “We are delighted to be coming back for a new season, with new additions to the game and another opportunity to prove yet again that Blade Interactive really are masters of cuesports.” At this time, no release date has been announced for the new game.
